AI Implementation and Client Success
Location: Seattle, Washington
Apply: careers@finpilot.ai
Finpilot is the AI-native operating system for institutional capital.
Our customers decide where the long-term capital of the economy goes. They are the investment offices behind universities and governments, public pensions and foundations, hospital systems and insurers, families and asset managers. Tens to hundreds of billions of dollars each.
This is the capital that pays for research, medicine and retirement. Most people never think about who allocates it, and almost nobody has built serious software for the people who do.
Those teams still work across five systems built before AI, with a person in the middle moving information between them by hand. The people trusted with these decisions spend most of their week assembling information instead of judging it.
We are rebuilding that from the ground up. Finpilot unifies every system and every document an investment office holds into a single shared brain, then runs AI agents on top of it. The agents do the work: the research, the analysis, the diligence, the watch on every manager and every position. Continuously, in the background, at a depth no team could ever staff for. People come in for the decisions.
Human intelligence where it counts. AI agents everywhere else.
Some of the largest and most respected pools of capital in the country run on Finpilot today. Several are pulling out systems they have relied on for decades and making Finpilot the platform their office runs on instead. This is an industry that changes its software about once a generation. It is changing now.
We are backed by Madrona Venture Group. We are a small team with deep expertise in finance and technology, decades of financial industry experience, and fintech companies previously built and acquired by Nasdaq and ADP. We have spent three years on the hardest part of applying AI to this industry: precision and accuracy, which are non-negotiable when a number ends up in front of an investment committee.
The Role
You will sit with investment teams, learn how they actually operate, and build that inside Finpilot: the agents, the workflows, the integrations and the templates that match how their office already works. You will do this alongside CIOs, investment directors, portfolio managers and operations leads at some of the most sophisticated institutions in the country. When it works, an investment team that spent its week assembling information gets that week back. That is the scoreboard.
This role does not fit a standard title, and we would rather say so than dress it up. It is part business analyst, part solutions engineer, part product manager and part client lead. You will need to be comfortable owning whatever the client needs, without waiting to be told where your job ends.
There is a second half to the role. We already run our own implementation and client success function on AI, and we are building more of it every month: onboarding, trials, integrations, project management and ongoing monitoring. You will help build that internal AI infrastructure, on the same platform we sell to clients. It is the best test our product gets.
How institutions use AI to make decisions and deploy capital is still being decided. You will be one of the people deciding it.
What you'll do:
Own implementation end to end for new clients, from workflow discovery through go-live and ongoing expansion
Learn a client's workflows deeply enough to see where agents and automation are actually worth it, then build those solutions in Finpilot
Configure and troubleshoot agents, data integrations and automated workflows for how each client operates
Run working sessions with investment teams and turn capability into workflows people genuinely adopt
Help build the AI infrastructure behind our own onboarding, trials, implementation and monitoring
Bring structured client insight back to the product team and shape what we build next
What we're looking for
We care about what you have built and how you handle a room, not where you went to school. Some of the best people for this job do not have the obvious background.
Technical aptitude. You think in structure, break problems apart, and pick up unfamiliar systems fast. You have built or configured something non-trivial, whether through formal training, a job, or entirely on your own.
You already work with AI. Agents, automation, no-code and low-code tools, scripts, data systems. Not as something you read about. As how you get your own work done.
Real customer exposure. You have been in front of someone who was paying, under pressure, with a problem you had to solve live. It shows immediately on a call, and we can tell.
Communication that holds up in front of a CIO. You can make something technical land for someone who does not need to know how it works, in writing and out loud.
Startup instincts. You have worked somewhere unstructured and made structure rather than waited for it. This is the single strongest signal for this role.
Hunger. You are hungry, you move fast, and you want the opportunity more than you want the title. This is not a nine to five, and we would rather be honest about that than have you find out in month two.
You do not need a background in institutional finance. You do need to be curious about it and willing to learn it quickly. We will teach you the domain.
What we offer
Competitive salary with fully covered health benefits (medical, dental, and vision)
Above-market equity
Direct collaboration with founders and leadership from day one
A front-row seat to AI transformation at some of the world's most sophisticated financial institutions
Real ownership over how AI implementation takes shape at Finpilot as we scale
A small, talent-dense team where your work has immediate and visible impact
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of institutional finance and frontier AI, at a company that has already solved some of the hardest problems in the space. If you want to define what the next generation of financial operations looks like and do it by being the person clients trust most, we'd like to talk.
